Owen Hall

With four-person suites, furnished rooms, and a spacious lobby area, Owen Hall residents are well-equipped for a comfortable semester, where ladies can anticipate a quiet atmosphere.
$1,415.00 for a 16-week Semester
4 students per suite with a shared bathroom
Each room has 2 beds (extra-long twin mattresses), 2 dressers, 2 nightstands, 2 closets, 2 desks with chairs, and a mirrored sink vanity.
The Unique Prayer Room, located on the second floor, is where you can read, relax, and connect with God during the semester.
Laundry is available on each floor.

Ferguson Hall

First opened in 1954, Hattie Mays Ferguson Hall, or “Ferg” as past residents fondly call her, has been a wonderful place for Wayland students to call home.
$1415 a 16-week semester
"Ferg" has an updated lobby area with a variety of seating to allow for great interaction with other residents.
Each room is furnished with two beds, dressers, nightstands, closets, desks, and chairs. There are two closets and overhead storage as well.
A mirrored vanity with light is in each room as well.
There are five total bathrooms in the dorm, two are on the main floor, two on the second floor, and one in the basement. Each one has two sinks, two showers, and at least two toilets. These are cared for Monday-Friday by our Housekeeping team. The university provides tissue paper and paper towels for these bathrooms.
Laundry is available in the basement.

Davis Hall

As our newest women's dorm, Davis Hall offers greater convenience and comfort in a spacious, quiet environment. Students can look forward to private rooms with an en-suite bathroom and a shared living space.
$2,053.00 for a 16-week Semester
Two-student suites with a shared living room
Single bedrooms on each side
Each bedroom has a private bath
Each bedroom is furnished with a bed (extra long twin mattresses), dresser, nightstand, closet, and a desk with chair
Open for summer living
With our upperclassmen in mind, Wayland offers Davis Hall as a senior-only dorm.
- A waiting list is maintained using fall applications based on application submission date and total credit hours.
- This waiting list is used for vacancies as needed until the completion of the spring terms.
Laundry is available on the South side of the first floor.

Residence Hall Amenities:

Laundry is provided in each building. Since fall 2023, laundry is app-based so you do not need quarters. Residents will pay a $50 fee for each 16-week term for 3 loads per week for a total of 48 loads. The prepaid loads are a wash and a dry. If you need more loads, you pay through the app. Each extra cycle is $1.50.
Each room comes with wireless Internet, as well as Internet hookups.
Drink and snack machines are located in each residence hall.
*Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms are prohibited in the dorms.

Private Rooms

Room Assignment and Private Room Policy

Roommates are assigned to residents based on responses provided in the Housing Application. Private rooms may be offered based on availability, but they are not guaranteed. Residents assigned to a private room—whether by request or due to the absence of a roommate—will incur an additional charge per 16-week term, as assessed on Census Day.

Please note that private room assignments are not guaranteed from one term to the next. Wayland reserves the right to assign or reassign roommates at any time without prior notice, as outlined in the Occupancy License Agreement included in the Housing Application.
