Student Family Housing

Students may apply for Wayland Baptist University Student Family Housing. Eligible students have access to the application here:

Specific qualifications for student family housing units include:

  1. enrollment of at least 12 semester hours at Wayland Baptist University,
  2. Have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be in good standing with the university.
  3. marriage at the time of occupancy, or
  4. single-parent residing with a child.
  • Documentation must be provided on the application showing proof of legal marriage and/or legal custody of the minor child or children.

All units are unfurnished. Unit details are available on the application to qualified applicants. All applicants are placed on a waiting list, and all assignments are based on availability in accordance with university guidelines.

  • Laundry is provided in each building. Only residents of the building are permitted to use laundry machines. Laundry machines are for resident's personal use only. 
  • Laundry is app-based so you will not need quarters. Student Family Housing residents pay a per-use fee for each wash/dry load.
  • Instructions for downloading and using the app are sent out to each resident at the start of each 16-week term and posted in each laundry room.
