General - Each employee of Wayland Baptist University may present grievances concerning wages, hours of work, or conditions of work through proper channels to the office of his/her immediate supervisors. Complaint and Appeal Procedure - A non-faculty employee who has a complaint should discuss it with the immediate supervisor. The employee should request a meeting to discuss the complaint within 15 working days of the occurrence of the act that is the subject of the complaint. If the discussion does not resolve the complaint, the employee may, within five working days of the discussion, request a meeting with the dean of his\her school or the executive director/campus dean of his/her campus by submitting the Complaint and Appeal form, (attachment A). The appropriate dean or executive director/campus dean will be the administrator to review the complaint, consult the Office of Human Resources, and make a decision concerning its merits.
