Alumni Success Stories
Wayland alumni have made a positive impact in a variety of career, volunteer and organizational opportunities throughout the world. These are just a few of their stories.
Chandra Smith, BS in Psychology:
Chanda Smith earned her Bachelor of science degree in Psychology from Wayland in December of 2015. She started on a Master of Arts in Counseling the following spring and plans to use her skills with the FBI or another law enforcement agency, or to help individuals with special needs.
Chase Aycock, BA in Psychology:
Chase Aycock, a 2012 graduate, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Religion from Wayland, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, and is projected to earn a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology also from Wheaton College in 2017.
Noe Valles, BA in History and Spanish:
Noe Valles graduated from Wayland with a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in History and Spanish in 1988. He later went on to receive his J.D. at Texas Tech's School of Law in 1993.
Aaron Groff, BS in Psychology & MCM:
Aaron Groff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Wayland in 1998 and later earned a Master of Christian Ministry degree in 2009.
