Student Senate

The Student Senate exists to better Wayland as a whole by taking on and completing tasks that benefit the students and Wayland as a whole. Elections are held once a year and any student can be elected to any position in the Senate or SGA as long as they have been a part of the Student Senate for at least a semester before elections.

The Senate gives Wayland students the opportunity to voice what they like and dislike about Wayland so they can make changes to better the campus.

Changes that the Student Senate has brought forth include adding a cell booster to Pete's Place and petition to add more fresh fruit in the cafeteria.

Interested students can pick up an application at the Student Activities office. In order to be considered, students must present a completed application along with signatures from other students who support them running for Senate.
